A ten-year-old has been given the chance to get an inside scoop on the world of animation.

Kayhan Ali, of Galliard Primary school, in Edmonton, interviewed famous actor Isaac Hempstead Wright, well known for playing Bran Stark in Game of Thrones, about his new role in animation film The Boxtrolls.

The schoolboy asked the actor about the variety of voices his character, Eggs, needs for the film.

Mr Wright told the young reporter that the animators are the real actors in the play, dedicating months and months moving each character for the film.

Kayhan was whisked off to the press day to represent education charity Into Film, where he was able to also interview lead animator Travis Knight about how the film was made.

Speaking after the day, Kayhan said: “My favourite thing about meeting them was one I got to see two models [from the film] - one of Eggs and one of Fish, and I got to meet two famous people. I’d never really done that before so I really enjoyed that.

“They were nice people and they were funny as well.  It will be cool to show my interview in my film club and speak about what I’ve done.”
