Family members of a man stabbed in Edmonton last year have urged anyone with information to step forward.

Police have also offered a £5,000 reward for anyone who has photographs or footage of the incident that led to Khiry Ford’s death on Saturday, November 29, in Haselbury Road, Edmonton.

The 23-year-old had been at a party held by his cousin in the street.

He intervened when four people were being robbed in a nearby street by a group of people who had also been at the party.

Mr Ford was stabbed following a brawl and died in an ambulance on his way to hospital.

Detective Chief Inspector Matt Bonner, who is leading the investigation into Khiry's death for the Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: "I know that there were a number of people at the party that night taking photos and filming on their mobile phones. Those photos and footage may prove useful to our investigation, please share it with us, a reward is available.

"If you were there that night and haven't yet spoken to us, please get in contact, we need to speak to you."

Mr Ford’s family have called on anyone with information of the incident to step forward.

They said: "Khiry was a quiet, humble young man who loved god, his life and his family. Khiry had dreams and aspirations, he was in his second year of a business course at university and loved sport.

"We hope all who read this will not just see Khiry as another statistic of another senseless killing.

"We miss Khiry and still can't accept he is dead. Khiry had a young son who he loved dearly and will now have to grow up without him. Khiry's death leaves a trail of broken hearts and lives that will never be the same again."

Jeffery Kessie, 20, of Elderberry Drive, Nuneaton, Warwickshire has been charged with the murder.

Charles Tamale, 18, and Deo Tamale, 18, both from St Edmunds Road, Edmonton, have been charged with robbery.

All three will appear in court on February 25, for plea and case management hearings.

Five people, aged 17 and 18, remain bailed to return to north London police stations on a date in late March pending further enquiries.
