Golfers raised more than £3,000 to help young and older people find work.
Mayor of Enfield Councillor Ali Bakir teed off a golf tournament to raise money for Skills For Life, a charity that helps young and the elderly get back into work.
Council leader Cllr Doug Taylor joined Enfield North Conservative candidate Nick de Bois and Enfield Southgate candidate David Burrowes in supporting the cause.
More than 40 guests were invited to the post-tournament raffle and an auction that helped raise the total raised to £3,667.
Charity founder Vijay Sujan said: “This will help us to take our project further, in helping the young and senior adults, into training and employment in the borough of Enfield.”
