A housing group is set to pump almost £300,000 into the community.
Fairview New Homes, which is building new homes adjacent to Enfield Town Park, in Cecil Road, will invest £122,000 into education in the area.
The developer will also give £96,000 to local health services and an additional £35,000 to cover the loss of a pay and display car park on the site where the homes are being built.
Jim Holliday, sales and marketing director for Fairview, said: “Supporting and improving communities is of paramount importance to us with every development we build, so we are pleased to be contributing £300,000 for the benefit of Enfield as part of the development of Parkside.
“The contributions which we are making will benefit vital local services.
“Parkside is now almost sold out, so now we are looking forward to building work progressing and to welcoming our first residents to their new homes in August.”
