Enfield Town was transported back millions of years as an unfamiliar creature entertained shoppers.
A stegosaurus walked the streets and through palace gardens, in Enfield Town, surprising a few shoppers.
The dinosaur, called Tiny, was joined by palaeontologist Suzanna Stone, who presented three natural history shows throughout the day.
Artworkers ran a prehistoric make and take workshop with children making pterodactyl puppets, spiky stegosaurus hats, mini brachiosaurus and triceratops masks.
Palace Gardens manager Paul Duke, said: “Palace Gardens was teaming with little dinosaur fans - everyone absolutely loved the day.”
