Richard McAulay extended his three-year record of top-three finishes at the Grovelands Park Run by winning the race on Saturday.

McAulay came out on top in a time of 16.46, more than two minutes ahead of his nearest competitor, to extend a sequence which has seen him place in the top three of the race each time since August 2011.

Second to McAulay was Neil Kennerley, who finished in second place in a time of 20.06. Just behind him in third was Ricky Nelson, who crossed the line in 20.30 - an improvement of more than two minutes on his last time.

Helen Molloy was the first lady to complete the course, doing so in a time of 21.17, whilst finishing an impressive eighth overall. Eighth place represents Molloy’s best result since coming fifth in August 2011.

Enfield and Haringey Athletics Club’s Caroline Dunnett was the second lady across the line, recording a time of 22.43 in her first attempt of the course.

Vanessa Anthony was the third woman to finish, posting a time of 22.51.
