Botany Bay remain top of the Saracens Herts League Championship after maintaining their 100 per cent record with a 74-run victory over Reed.

Put into bat first, Bay made good use of the opportunity with opener Ben Howgego thrashing his way to an unbeaten 110 - which included 12 fours and two sixes.

Opening partner Kasey Harris (7) fell cheaply but Paul Summerskill, batting at three, displayed greater staying power and added a fine 70 to the Bay total of 214 for two.

Greg Harris was the star with the ball, helping himself to five for 12 from just eight overs. Along with Danny Muschamp (two for 22, he tore into the Reed line-up, never allowing the visitors to build any rhythm.

In Division Two A, Holtwhites Trinibis were trashed by 123 runs at Leverstock Green following a miserable batting display.

Hosts Leverstock made 190 for nine in 45 overs but Holtwhites never got near that total and were all out for just 67.

North Enfield picked up their first Division Three A win of the season, just edging out Chipperfield Clarendon by nine runs.

Batting first, hosts North Enfield made 150 all out and just removed their guests in the nick of time, having reached 141.
