Forward Michael Kalu has left Enfield Town to join Isthmian Premier Division rivals Staines Town.

Kalu, who lists Watford among his former employers, chipped in with three goals and eight assists from 27 starts last season to help Enfield to a seventh-place finish, and the winger is relishing the new challenge.

The winger, 21, told the club website: "I'm delighted to have signed for the club, look forward to working with the manager, coaching team and squad to have a great season for the fans to remember."

Staines manager Nicky Foster added: “Michael is an exciting player who will bring us an injection of real pace going forward and provide us both ammunition for our forwards and a supply of goals himself.”

The Swans were relegated to the Isthmian League last season and will hope for a quick return to the Conference South this time around.
