Tottenham Hotspur's Dele Alli made his full England debut as the Three Lions laboured to a 2-0 win over Estonia to record their ninth straight win in qualification for the 2016 European Championships.
The midfielder, who made his Premier League debut this season following a January switch from first club MK Dons, entered the fray in place of man-of-the-match Ross Barkley with two minutes remaining.
Alli, 19, had only previously been to Wembley Stadium to watch the Dons beat Grimsby Town in the 2008 Football League Trophy Final as a 12-year-old.
Spurs teammate Harry Kane made his first competitive start for Roy Hodgson's side in the absence of captain Wayne Rooney.
The striker played the full 90 minutes as England huffed and puffed to a routine win ahead of Monday's final qualifier in Lithuania.
With their place at next summer's European Championships in France already booked, England took the lead on the stroke of half-time through Arsenal forward Theo Walcott.
The win was wrapped up late on when Manchester City's Raheem Sterling stabbed home Jamie Vardy's cross.
Tottenham's Kyle Walker and Andros Townsend, who were late call-ups following an injury, were unused substitutes.
