Two Old Grammarians players have been successful in their county trials and been selected to join the Middlesex Under-14s squad this year.
Syd Lawrence and Adam Parry were put forward for the trials by their coach, Graham Kantorowicz, and went through several gruelling training sessions in the run up to Christmas to secure a squad spot.
Their hard work and commitment paid off ultimately with both boys receiving the news from selectors that they had made it through.
On the pitch, Enfield-based Old Grammarians' first team suffered a 19-12 defeat to Black Horse in the Herts & Middlesex Merit Table Five on Saturday.
The first team return to action on Saturday afternoon in the league with a home game against Chesham seconds.
