North Enfield produced their best performance of the season to defeat Division Two B leaders St Albans by 29 runs on Saturday.

After being put into bat, North Enfield managed to score a total of 219 for seven from their innings.

Captain Kieran Jones (36) and Sam Pitcher (62) compiled a second-wicket partnership of 94. Steve Gandy also made a strong contribution hitting 67.

St Albans were dismissed for 190 in 45.1 overs. Abdul Vahid Khan took two for 42 while important hauls of four for 59 from Shahid Ebrahim and four for 12 from Gandy sealed the win.

North Enfield Seconds lost by six wickets to Bovingdon in Division Six B.
