Charlotte Dujardin gained a silver medal at Rio 2016 along with Carl Hester, Spencer Wilton and Fiona Bigwood in team dressage.
The Enfield born athlete scored 83.025% with Valegro and sits second in the indvidual standings at the end of the Grand Prix Special.
Eighteen riders will quailfy to take part in the indivdual event on Monday, August 15 where the scores are wiped clean.
Dujardin will be looking to defend her title she won four years ago at London 2012.
